Do you have a finance option?
Yes, we work with a finance company named DivideBuy. This option allows you to spread your payments across 3-12 months, interest-free.
How do I pay for my OTTY order on finance?
When you get to the checkout, you can select the finance option at the final stage. Your billing address and delivery address must be the same.
How do I qualify for the finance option?
Your order total must exceed £200 to qualify for the finance option with OTTY.
Are there any other charges or fees on your finance payment option?
We currently offer 0% (Interest-Free) credit for up to 12 months, using a third-party provider (DivideBuy).
The cost of the facility is fully covered by OTTY and is completely free to use for you. There will be no other fees further down the line unless a payment is missed as per the agreement with DivideBuy.
Will a credit check be performed?
Yes. DivideBuy uses a third-party credit reference agency to perform a soft search credit check and then a full check will be applied when if you wish to proceed. This is used in combination with your entered details and our own unique algorithm to assess affordability.
The model looks at your ability to pay today, not at what may have happened in the past. Because of this, DivideBuy is able to offer interest-free credit to more people and currently holds a 96% approval rate.
A decision will be made within a few seconds and we can then process your order.
I tried to pay via finance but my credit card was declined, why?
If you would like more information on why your credit application was declined, please get in touch with our customer service team who will be happy to assist.
When will the first instalment be taken?
Your first instalment will be taken when you place your order.
Can I alter my monthly instalment amount?
Once DivideBuy has confirmed your finance agreement with them, you will be given access to your own account where you can alter your monthly instalments or pay the remaining balance.
Why was my credit application declined?
We’re sorry to hear that your application for finance was declined. We can’t influence our finance partner’s decision and they don’t share any information with us on why an application has been declined due to confidentiality laws. Here’s an outline of what can be considered with your application:
- Your credit history.
- Whether you're employed or retired and have considered your ability to afford and sustain the repayments.
- If you're a permanent UK resident, over 18, and able to supply three years of address history.
- If you have a debit or credit card.
